Important Information
Help! Would you be interested in joining the Surrey Branch Committee? The amount of time needed is small, but we are short of resource and would really welcome you joining us! Our main activity is setting up events with speakers who could provide helpful procurement insights for members, to support their work and their career development. We meet every quarter to brainstorm ideas on what we could do (either over a beer or by voice-conference). It is great fun, and helps to ensure that we get the maximum benefits from the CIPS subscription fees that we all pay. Please call Ricky Wallis (Surrey Branch Chairman Tel 07870 663561), and come and join us at a meeting to see what it is all about!"

CPD 2Join our lunchtime webinar to discover the 7 key ingredients of disruptive procurement.

Disruptive procurement is the process of creating real business value and competitive advantage by:

  • deconstructing what the business really needs,
  • challenging established business processes,
  • leveraging knowledge from outside the normal points of reference, and
  • designing, assembling and managing the supply chain in new and innovative ways.

Being disruptive does not necessarily mean coming up with outlandish new ways of working or entirely new thinking but it does mean disrupting how your organisation works today with the objective of improving the business.

Jeremy Bowley and Phil Denson share their secrets of disruptive procurement in action and provide a 7 step approach to driving out business benefits far in excess of improvements in margin.

Hear real life examples as well as theory about how this can be achieved in your business.
